The Breitling Superocean chronograph ref. 807, was introduced in 1957 and is thought to be the first watch to feature white sub-register against a black dial. Stainless steel case, at 39mm, the watch is oversized for its production date, but perfect for modern tastes. It is a very cool watch that features a rotating bezel. Period advertisements by Breitling promote the SuperOcean as the chronograph for divers offering an alternative to those “under water” compared to those flying in the sky that Breitling already knew as their active customers. powered by a manual winding movement Venus cal. 175, in order, the watch is in overall in well preserved condition and fits the original S/S signed bracelet.
